**About the Centre**

Our $27.3 million redevelopment has transformed us into a premier destination for health, fitness, and fun. Our state-of-the-art 24-hour gym and dynamic spinning studio cater to fitness enthusiasts of all levels, while our versatile multipurpose and group fitness room offer diverse exercise options.

Step into our seasonal outdoor aquatic area, featuring a heated 50-meter pool, a 20-meter learn-to-swim pool, two waterslides, and a children's waterplay pool with exciting features.

We're open year-round, and from 1st October to 30th April, our heated outdoor pools ensure a comfortable swimming experience.

**About the role**

As a Lifeguard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe swimming environment for all our valued centre visitors. Your friendly and attentive demeanour will keep pool-users informed and secure, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

Your main responsibilities will revolve around supervising our expansive aquatic space, where anticipation and swift problem-solving are key. Your watchful eye and proactive approach will ensure the safety of our patrons in and around the pool area.

Educating facility users about safe aquatic practices is an essential part of your role, as you enforce facility rules while fostering a culture of aquatic safety. You'll also be empowered to take preventive action when needed, ensuring the well-being of our patrons, the facility, and equipment.

**About You**

As a Lifeguard, your strong interpersonal skills will shine, making every interaction with our centre visitors a delight. Your positive attitude and commitment to safety and well-being will create an environment where children, young people, and all facility users feel secure and welcome.

Quick decision-making under pressure is second nature to you, ensuring you can handle any situation with poise and professionalism. You're a pro at managing conflicts with patrons and users, resolving issues smoothly to maintain a harmonious atmosphere.

In a fast-paced and repetitive work environment, you remain vigilant and alert at all times, never missing a beat. Multitasking is a breeze for you, as you efficiently juggle various responsibilities without compromising on safety.
