The Clinical Nurse Specialist is a key position within the healthcare team, providing advanced practice nursing care to patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals.
- Leads and supports less experienced clinicians to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
The successful candidate will be based in Bega, NSW, and work across a large area of southern NSW, bordering the ACT and Victoria.
The ideal candidate will possess current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and relevant post-registration qualifications in Renal Nursing, along with at least three years' experience in the clinical specialty.
Main responsibilities include:
- Implementing evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualized person-centered care at an extended role level.
- Supervising, delegating, and negotiating with others to ensure quality nursing care delivery.
- Maintaining competence and enhancing skills through participation in professional development and mentorship.
