This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team as an Advanced Care Practitioner in the Intensive Care Unit.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, mentoring junior colleagues, and advocating for individualized person-centered care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex needs
- Mentor and support junior nurses to achieve quality patient outcomes
- Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to inform patient care decisions
- Prioritize and organize workload to ensure efficient delivery of care
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated competencies in providing advanced nursing care in a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication skills, including the use of technology, written and verbal means, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualized person-centered care
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, with evidence of ongoing professional development
