About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide leadership to our non-clinical Cleaning, Waste, and Linen services, ensuring a high standard of service to our patients, staff, and guests.

The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience in an Environmental services capacity, ideally from a hospital or hospitality sector. They will also have experience with computerized rostering systems, flexibility, and adaptability, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage an Environmental Services team of up to 50-60 individuals
  2. Provide training and guidance to new recruits and current staff members
  3. Organize rosters and ensure strict adherence to OHS and Infection control procedures
  4. Manage financial and budget responsibilities
Requirements
  1. Previous leadership experience in Environmental services
  2. Experience with computerized rostering systems
  3. Flexibility and adaptability
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Knowledge of OHS and Infection control procedures

Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check prior to appointment and persons in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
