Senior Legal Counsel Job Description

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide strategic leadership on complex legal and commercial matters in the Asia Pacific Region.

Working closely with Business Development and Management teams, you will structure, prepare, negotiate, and conclude transactions for prospects and projects in the region.

You will advise and support project personnel on legal issues during project execution, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and procedures.

  • Provide expert legal advice and support on high-profile engineering and construction projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies
  • Advise on regulatory compliance and risk management

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 8 years post-qualification work experience in engineering and construction projects
  • A current legal practicing certificate from an Australian jurisdiction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This role requires flexibility, as travel may be required on an 'as needed' basis.
