Ambitious Financial Professional Sought

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated financial professional to join our team. As an Research & Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, acquittals, and certified statements.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess excellent analytical skills. You will have the opportunity to work closely with operational finance, research divisions, and academic staff to deliver high-quality financial information and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, acquittals, and certified statements in accordance with funding agreements, accounting standards, and university policies.
  • Contribute to major institutional reporting requirements such as the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC).
  • Build strong relationships with operational finance, research divisions, and academic staff to deliver high-quality financial information and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and progressing towards a CA or CPA Qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting processes, reporting, and analyzing financial information.
  • High-level attention to detail and ability to deliver results in line with required deadlines and quality parameters.
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
