Industrial Control Systems Security Expert

Job Overview

As an Industrial Control Systems Security Expert, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients to identify and mitigate cyber security risks associated with their industrial control systems. This role requires a deep understanding of ICS/OT cyber security, industrial control system design, and industrial networks.

  • Assess and develop comprehensive cybersecurity programs to minimize client risk exposure.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on cyber security risks and the benefits of implementing a robust cybersecurity management system.
  • Design and deliver general and focused OT Cyber Security Education programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in ICS/OT cyber security, industrial control system design, and industrial networks.
  • Formal qualifications in IEC62443 and additional industry frameworks such as RISSB (Rail) and AESCSF (Energy).
  • A working knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST SP 800-82.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with clients to assess existing systems/installations/sites against the IEC62443 Security Level (SL) rating.
  • Developing comprehensive cyber security programs to align SL Achieved (SL-As) to SL Targets (SL-Ts).
  • Creating OT cyber security preliminary and detail OT cyber security analysis reports.
  • Providing input to bids teams to include methodology, cost, and schedule for cyber security works required.

Additional Responsibilities

May also be required to provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and provide ad-hoc remote support to various projects and activities.
