The Climate Change Research Centre is a hub for interdisciplinary research on the Earth's climate system. We are seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our projects focused on physical oceanography, climate science, and geophysical fluid dynamics.

- As a postdoctoral research associate, you will work closely with our researchers to design and conduct experiments, collect and analyse data, and develop new theories and models.">
- You will also have opportunities to collaborate with other researchers and institutions nationally and internationally.">
- Your primary responsibilities will include conducting research, assisting in the supervision of students, collaborating with other fellows, preparing scientific reports, coordinating research activities, and participating in the setting of research directions.">
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in physical oceanography, climate science, or geophysical fluid dynamics. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in ocean modelling and Antarctic coastal or Southern Ocean research, as well as high-level expertise in programming languages such as Fortran and Python.

- A PhD in a relevant field such as physics or mathematics is essential.">
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a research environment is required.">
- An ability to mentor research students in the field of expertise is also desirable.">
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.">
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver high-quality project outcomes in a timely manner is expected.">
