Postdoctoral Researcher Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to our team and advance the understanding of recent oceanic change and its impact on future climate.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with Dr Jan Zika and Professor John Church on the project Ocean heat content change and its impact on sea level, funded by the Australian Research Council.
- Develop novel methods to attribute changes in ocean temperature and salinity to different physical processes using historical observations and global coupled atmosphere ocean climate models.
- Work within a team of researchers across internationally, addressing related topics and advancing knowledge in the field.
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field such as Oceanography, Climate Science or a related discipline.
- Strong background in data analysis and programming skills (e.g., Python, R).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
