About the role:

Australian Country Choice seeks a reliable and self-motivated Store Person/Forklift Operator to join its Stores & Procurement team. Reporting to the Store Supervisor, this position ensures safe, effective, accurate, and consistent stores activity and inventory control practices in line with Quality Assurance, Work, Health & Safety, stores, and procurement policies operating procedures.

This role involves a variety of duties, including:

  • Picking and processing daily requisitions using an RF scanner
  • Safely operating a forklift
  • Unloading and quality-checking materials delivered
  • Stocktaking and stock rotation activities
  • Maintaining warehouse housekeeping at the highest possible standard
  • Ensuring a high level of safety, accuracy, service, and productivity

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience working in a warehouse/store environment and possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current LF Forklift License
  • Current Driver's License
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • An uncompromising commitment to working safely at all times
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Solid numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read, accurately interpret, and follow policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Ability to undertake physical elements of this role (as determined by pre-employment medical)
  • Certificate III in Warehousing Operations is highly regarded

This full-time position works from 7:30 AM to 3:36 PM, Monday to Friday. Weekend work and shift times may change with notice and require covering night shifts from 2 PM to 11 PM and occasional leave cover.

Benefits:

A competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
