Expert Genetic Counsellor

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Genetic Counsellor to provide expert genetic risk assessments and facilitate clients' adjustment and decision-making in our Paediatric and Reproductive Genetics Unit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and clients.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Making accurate genetic risk assessments and providing counselling services to clients.
- Assisting in organising tests and collection of samples.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Participating in quality assurance and continuing education programs.

">Key Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Science, or a related field.
- A postgraduate Masters in Genetic Counselling or equivalent.
- Eligibility and commitment to completing Certification in Genetic Counselling as required by the Board of Censors for Genetic Counselling, Human Genetics Society of Australasia.
