About the Role
As a Consultant Clinical Geneticist, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert clinical genetic services to families. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centred care.
Our Consultant Clinical Geneticists have expertise in diagnosing and managing genetic conditions. Your insights will help shape the direction of our clinical practice, ensuring the best possible outcomes for individuals and their families.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to education and research initiatives within our Unit. You'll collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and dynamic team environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking Clinical Geneticist seeking to make a lasting impact in the field.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and specialist qualifications;
- Certification as a Clinical Geneticist or equivalent qualification;
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with individuals, families and a multidisciplinary team;
- Experience in adult genetics with a strong understanding of clinical genetics services and trends.
