Bupa Dental Brisbane is a dynamic dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and community service. We are seeking a skilled Dental Healthcare Support Professional to join our team.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a motivated individual to work in a full-time capacity, Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a neighbouring practice, Face Value Dental, across Monday to Friday, also with no weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our high standard of customer service and team culture
  • Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment
  • Provide quality chairside assistance to our dentists
  • Deliver instrument sterilisation
  • Maintain infection control standards and procedures
  • Greet patients warmly and provide a great first impression
  • Book and amend appointments, answer phone calls, and update patient records
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
  • Inform patients about dental services and offers
  • Handle payments securely while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Offer high-end patient care by building and maintaining strong relationships with all clients in a friendly and warm manner

About You:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Dental Assistant or Medical receptionist in Australia is highly regarded
  • You hold a Current Working With Children's Check (Blue Card) or can obtain one
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is highly valued, although not essential - we offer competitive remuneration based on your experience level
  • You excel at tackling challenges both individually and as part of a team, paying close attention to details
  • You possess a strong focus on customer care, with excellent time management skills
  • You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • You embody maturity, reliability, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care
  • You maintain an organised environment, utilising systematic approaches
  • You have the ability to build rapport with patients in a cheerful and light-hearted manner
