The Station Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless airport operations. As the primary point of contact, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of station activities, guaranteeing efficient and safe flight implementation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute short-term operational work plans for each unit to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Evaluate subordinate performance, ensuring adherence to established company regulations and policies.
  • Implement corrective actions to address audit findings and improve quality systems.
  • Provide recommendations and assessments of handling agents based on supervision and performance evaluation.
  • Manage HR in the Operational Unit to ensure smooth business processes.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and report on direct limitations.
  • Prioritize safety and security in station operations as a fundamental priority.
  • Implement the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) and security system.
  • Establish work plans and budgets for the Operational Work Unit.
  • Effectively manage resources and budget with principles of effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of ground handling services.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in airlines or ground handling companies in ground operations.
  • Ability to manage flight stations.
  • Familiarity with ground handling services divisions.
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and teamwork skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of organizational procedures including Ground.
