Music Educator Role

We are seeking skilled and passionate music educators to join our vibrant co-curricular program. The role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced instructors to inspire and guide students on their musical journey.

This part-time position is available for a fixed term, although we may consider a job-shared arrangement. We are looking for qualified individuals who can provide exceptional teaching and mentorship to students from years 5 to 12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement engaging music programs that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • To provide expert instruction and guidance in flute playing, ensuring students receive high-quality tuition and support.
  • To foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in music education, preferably with experience in teaching flute.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
