Job Description:
Overview

This role focuses on pricing strategy and portfolio performance within the Merchant Pricing and Portfolio Management Team.

  • Assist in the development and execution of pricing strategies for Merchant Services across customer segments, considering profitability, product/partnership strategy, and overall relationship value.
  • Support and manage analysis of the competitive environment to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and differentiation, while considering regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the delivery of end-to-end pricing value chain with robust processes and controls in line with standards, including pricing frameworks, governance/compliance, and modelling.
  • Support and contribute to strategic and BAU initiatives, including business case modelling and analysis.
  • Support and contribute to regulatory reporting and to broader revenue reporting insights and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with domain, sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing models and decisions with business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in banking, ideally in a pricing or product management function.
  • Experience in managing pricing models and data models; understanding end-to-end process value chains that manage profitability across the customer lifecycle and risk.
  • Proven track record of delivery with attention to detail.
  • Problem solving, stakeholder management, and effective communications across cross-functional groups.
  • Understanding of regulatory, risk and compliance environment in banking/finance.
  • Business financial understanding.
