">">Job OverviewAs a User Support Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing first-line support to editing and production staff. You will ensure the smooth operation of workflows, proactive maintenance of all systems' output, and manage projects to meet deadlines in a professional and sustainable manner.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work fluently with colleagues. You should be self-motivated, proactive, and have a desire for personal development. Additionally, knowledge of Avid and Adobe is essential, as well as empathy towards colleagues experiencing technical issues under pressure to deliver.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to working patterns based on client and business needs. You will be responsible for ensuring all edits and areas of responsibility are operational, providing technical support on live & OB productions, assisting in workflow management, and managing TX critical productions to ensure deadlines are met.
You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining tier 2 and 3 storage solutions, first-line support of audio suites, finishing suites, desktop editing clients, and Virtual editing platform. Furthermore, you will log and report support requests, escalate to contingency options when necessary, and liaise with other departments to resolve issues.
