Job Title: Youth Program Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Program Coordinator to lead our Before and After School Care programs in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and possess excellent communication skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and school leaders to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality activities that cater to diverse interests and needs.
  • Supervise and support children during programs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized program space.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, colleagues, and school leaders.
  • Collaborate with other service coordinators to share best practices and improve overall program quality.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Child Protection training.
