The Midwife Care Specialist provides high-quality nursing services within a Women's Health Unit. This role requires a Registered Nurse with expertise in midwifery, who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a postnatal ward setting
- Work closely with midwives and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Demonstrate competence in providing nursing care that meets registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Postgraduate Diploma of Midwifery or equivalent qualification
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current CPR certification
