About Project Scheduling Roles

This is a full-time opportunity for experienced project schedulers to join our team in Osborne, SA.

We're looking for individuals with advanced skills in Primavera P6 or other scheduling software who can provide detailed expert technical scheduling administration, advice, monitoring and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Review, plan and schedule whole submarine maintenance activities.
  • Understand and document the sequence of works, relationships, durations and resource requirements.
  • Develop project schedules including the identification and verification of the critical path.
  • Monitor and control all activities through the planning and execution of activities.
  • Update activity information and status based on information from various sources.
  • Rescheduling of activities in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Communication of trends to the Project Manager and Project Team.
  • Detailed schedule analysis for relevant stakeholders.
What We Look For
  • Minimum 3 years' demonstrated project planning and scheduling experience within a complex project environment, preferably in Defence, Shipbuilding and/or heavy engineering industries.
  • Proven experience working as a Project Scheduler in a complex project environment and with large volume schedules.
  • Advanced skills in Primavera P6 or other scheduling software (e.g., OPP, MS Project).
  • Minimum intermediate-level Excel skills, especially in handling and transforming data.
  • Understanding of project management principles and lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A high-level of integrity and resilience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) (desirable).
