About the Role

The Senior Financial Strategist plays a pivotal part in driving financial excellence and providing indispensable support to business operations.

This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and delivering high-quality financial outputs while offering valuable insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational finance functions including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage overseas payment processes.
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and management.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Lead month-end management activities including GL reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
  • Drive budget formation, management, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely statutory lodgements.
  • Manage company insurances effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities to finance team members.
  • Offer valuable business insights, analysis, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to execute strategic priorities and enable business growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in senior finance roles.
  • Hold or be working towards CA, CPA, or equivalent accreditation.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with business software, with Exo experience being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated and dynamic lateral thinker, capable of driving innovative solutions.
