As a Portfolio Planning & Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering project, program, and portfolio reporting to ensure that our leadership has the information they need to drive meaningful decisions.

The role involves owning the reporting framework, analyzing portfolio performance, and overseeing key data. You will design and continuously improve the framework to ensure it reliably delivers key indicators of portfolio performance, including lead indicators critical to effective portfolio performance management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for coordinating, collating, and distributing slide packs (and other related artefacts) for regular reporting rhythms and governance forums
  • Develop and maintain processes to capture the timing of key events from pipeline and inflight initiatives to form a roadmap view
  • Provide advice, guidance, and quality checks across initiatives plans to ensure there is effective initiative planning behind enterprise-level milestones
  • Identify key initiative information and ensure it is captured consistently and can be displayed and communicated in a meaningful way across the entire project/product lifecycle
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on short, medium, and long-term portfolio considerations in terms of sequencing, critical dependencies, and funding

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Well-developed project management skills or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through practical experience
  • Sound understanding of project management techniques and methodologies
  • Broad range of experience (10 years) in portfolio management and project delivery
  • Previous experience in establishing and monitoring portfolio roadmaps, including determining and reporting on the implications of changing priorities
  • Previous experience with project portfolio management tools highly regarded
