Job Summary:

TRN Group, a leading civil engineering and haulage company, is seeking a skilled Fuel Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for refueling, maintaining, and servicing our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refuel and top up oil levels for all machinery on designated project sites
  • Record fuel usage daily on datafuel for all machinery that is refueled and oil used for top up
  • Report any defects or issues to the workshop, General Manager - Operations, or Plant Manager
  • Return all written defect reports to the workshop daily for action
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to public roads and driving hours
  • Complete all required paperwork as per company policies and procedures
  • Perform periodic services as directed by the General Manager - Operations

Requirements:

  • Current HR unrestricted driver's license
  • WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
  • Clean RMS certified driving record
  • Minimum 1 year of fuel cart operator experience
  • Knowledge of plant machinery and servicing requirements
  • Ability to operate various pumps and equipment on the Fuel Truck
  • Physical fitness and health to perform manual tasks
  • Knowledge of civil construction principles and practices
  • Understanding of health and safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
