Job Opportunity: Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGVs safely and efficiently, adhering to rigorous health and safety protocols.
  • Handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver liquefied petroleum gas across metropolitan and regional areas, ensuring timely and accurate completion of delivery runs.
  • Report any site defects or hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records, including driver logs.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience as a heavy goods vehicle operator with a clean driving record.
  • A minimum of 12 months operating experience in your license class.
  • A safety-focused attitude, high level of physical fitness, and willingness to perform manual labor when required.
  • Current Heavy Vehicle licence (HR minimum).
  • Dangerous Goods licence (essential).
  • 12 months prior experience in delivery or courier services.
  • Aptitude for mechanical repairs.
  • Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
