Healthcare Specialist
About the Role:The Healthcare Specialist will provide expert medical advice and guidance to inform business decisions within the department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including medical practices, legislative reforms, and clinical risk management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing education to staff and external stakeholders
- Analyze trends in medical practice and legislative reforms
- Participate in special projects and initiatives
- Key Challenges:
- Provision of accurate and timely medical advice
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and the medical environment
- Analysis and reporting of trends in medical practice and legislative reforms
- Accountability:
- Provision of timely medical advice and guidance to colleagues on medical issues related to claims and claims management
- Educate staff and external stakeholders in medico-legal, clinical risk, and claims matters
To be successful, you will need to have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and excellent communication skills.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialist qualification
