Aircraft Maintenance Instructor - Avionics/Mechanical

Aviation Australia is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team as an instructor in the field of Avionics and Mechanical. In this role, you will have the opportunity to train and mentor the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to fill this position. As an instructor, you will be responsible for leading theory and practical instruction within your trade stream while providing exceptional support to students and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma of Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) preferred; Certificate IV in Aeroskills will also be considered
  • Current CASA category B1 or B2 license will be highly regarded, along with experience in a training or mentoring role
  • Practical rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a small, close-knit team
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and strong organisation skills
