
Business Payroll Specialist

This role involves supporting the payroll team by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll. Your responsibilities will include managing paperwork, data entry into spreadsheets and payroll systems, reconciliations, and working closely with the senior team to meet payroll deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Chasing up paperwork, including leave forms, to ensure timely processing
- Accurate data entry into spreadsheets and payroll systems
- Bringing together data from various sources to assist with payroll reporting
- Working closely with the senior team to provide administrative support
- Checking numbers and performing reconciliations in Excel
- Utilising MS Suite and advanced Excel skills for various tasks
- Demonstrating a keen attitude to learn and get involved in payroll processes
- Approaching problem-solving with a mature attitude and high attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in payroll or finance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of numeracy
- Proficiency in MS Suite and advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to Ascender software is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
