Facility Management Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Facility Manager to lead our team at Chermside Aquatic Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and consultation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks effectively. You will also possess strong decision-making skills, including the ability to consult and gather information, consider alternatives, communicate decisions, and review outcomes in a timely manner.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all patrons feel welcome and valued.
  2. Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of staff to deliver outstanding results and achieve business objectives.
  3. Operational Management: Managing the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, cleaning, and safety procedures.
  4. Financial Management: Managing budgets and resources to ensure the efficient operation of the facility.

You will also be required to hold or obtain relevant qualifications, such as a Blue Card (Working with children check), First Aid certification, Swim Teaching Qualification, Current CPR, and Pool Lifeguard certification.
