About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will support our operational teams across our businesses by:
- Delivering timely and accurate best practice HR advice
- Providing coaching and guidance to stakeholders on a range of employment-related matters
- Working with the teams on performance management and disciplinary issues
- Implementing learning and development programs
- Coach and advise managers on HR matters, including recruitment and selection, performance management, complaint management, and disciplinary matters
- Conduct disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and legislative requirements
- Provide accurate and timely advice on industrial instruments such as Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and NES interpretation and implementation
- Design and implement learning and development programs, including leadership development, succession planning, coaching, and mentoring
- Continuously improve the HRIS system and implement the Performance Development module
- Review, update, and prepare HR documentation, including contracts, general letters, employee variations, and responsibility statements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR working experience
- Strong experience in Employee Relations management and Learning and Development
- Good time management with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Efficient HR administration skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills
- The ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation
