About Our Quarry Operation

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Rockbank Quarry in Melbourne, AU.

Our quarry operation involves operating a variety of mobile and fixed plant, including loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks, and crushing and screening plants.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained.
  • Operate mobile plant and equipment.
  • Undertake housekeeping and basic maintenance.
  • Occasional manual handling and general laboring.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Current RII competencies and certificate 3 or 4 in extractive industries.
  • Understanding of fixed crushing and screening operations.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Demonstrated experience operating mobile plant and equipment in a quarry or mine.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
