Electrical Distribution Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Test & Commissioning Lead Electrical Distribution Technician to join our team at BAE Systems Australia.
This exciting opportunity is based at Osborne Naval Shipyard-SA and involves overseeing a team conducting Set to Work (STW) testing, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems on the Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) per engineering and program standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day activities of technicians performing STW and testing of electrical distribution systems for the HCF program.
- Provide technical oversight and promote best practices within the discipline.
- Ensure all tasks are safely conducted using processes and procedures that are compliant with WHS legislation and the BAE Systems SHE policies.
- Deliver completed electrical distribution testing documentation to the verification team.
- Conduct Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) for team members.
- Certificate III Trade in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong attention to electrical safety.
- Strong leadership and team management experience or qualities.
- Proficient in resolving complex issues.
- Highly skilled in planning and organisation.
- Strong ability to coordinate tasks effectively.
