Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in ABB Australia. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, identifying technical problems, and making analysis through remote or onsite activity. You will contribute to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation. Additionally, you will create and maintain good relationships with customers, understand their needs, and identify new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing service tasks, identifying technical problems, and making analysis through remote or onsite activity
  • Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation
  • Creating and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and communicating them internally
  • Coordinating, preparing, and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities

Requirements:

  • Electrical License mandatory for this role with minimum 4 years industry experience preferably with Switchgear
  • Understanding and competence in Protection Relays with Primary and Secondary Injection Testing experience
  • Computer literate being familiar with Microsoft and Windows
  • Ability to amicably negotiate and provide good customer service
  • Knowledge of Electrical testing fundamentals is an added advantage
  • High level of mechanical aptitude and Interpretation of Electrical drawings skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to think wider to gain improvements

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
