Job Title: Cloud Platform Architect

The Cloud Platform Architect is a senior leadership role that involves strategic planning, design, and implementation of cloud-based systems.

  • This position requires high-level expertise in software design and development, as well as strong technical skills in cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure.
  • In partnership with stakeholders, apply strategic and technical expertise to enhance and improve existing software applications, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing software systems in line with business requirements and software development standards.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues related to the operation of cloud-based applications, ensuring deadlines are consistently met and providing high-quality technical documentation.
  • Responsible for project progress reporting and ensure compliance with governance processes.
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve high-quality outputs, including building team capability to maintain a high level of expertise and encouraging career development.
Technical Skills:
  • Implementing enterprise IT solutions using Azure services, including IaaS, Serverless Compute, Azure Functions, Web Apps, Storage – BLOB and File, Integration – Service Bus and Event Hub, Identity – Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Azure B2C, API Management (APIM).
  • Experience in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using ARM and/or Bicep templates.
  • Managing and migrating solution infrastructure to the Azure platform.
  • Risk management principles and processes in the context of cloud infrastructure management.
  • Effective communication skills while anticipating stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network.
