Job Summary

This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and maintenance reliability at our Leongatha site. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, warehousing, or stores management, with knowledge of industrial settings and mechanical/electrical parts.

Responsibilities

The primary duties include:

  • Managing tools, parts, and consumables inventory effectively
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and records using SAP and CMMS systems
  • Conducting regular stocktakes and cycle counts to achieve high inventory accuracy
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers for timely delivery
  • Supporting maintenance teams with parts availability for planned and reactive work
  • Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely (Forklift licence required)
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient store layout aligned with industry standards
  • Contributing ideas to improve store processes and drive operational change
Requirements
  • Experience in stores, warehousing, or inventory control
  • Knowledge of industrial or manufacturing settings will be highly regarded
  • Familiarity with mechanical/electrical parts and vendor relationships
  • Forklift licence (mandatory)
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar inventory/CMMS systems
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and safety mindset
  • IT literacy and ability to work independently
  • A proactive approach with a drive to improve systems and support the team
