Business and Operations Manager

The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Principal in managing all aspects of property and facility management, finance, business administration, procurement, and resource management at St Clare's College.
This is a full-time permanent position that requires a strong facilities management, procurement, and financial background, as well as leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Coordinate maintenance and repairs, manage budgeted building and refurbishment projects, and oversee school cleaning and security.
- Work Health and Safety (WHS): Oversee WHS management and compliance.
- Procurement: Manage school contracts and agreements, including tender preparation, analysis, and briefing papers.
- Financial Management: Manage day-to-day accounting procedures, financial management, and strategic development in an educational setting.
- Debt Management: Manage debt and debt recovery strategies in line with SCS' policies, procedures, and values.
- Qualifications in Business, Finance, Project Management, or Facilities Management are highly desired.
- Experience in Business, Finance, Project Management, or Facilities Management is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and organizational, planning, and coordination skills are required.
- A commitment to Catholic Education and a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools are essential.
