At MedHealth, we are expanding our multidisciplinary team to meet the diverse needs of individuals across various age groups and abilities.

We provide life-changing support to individuals who require assistance with communication, independence, development, health, and wellbeing.

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will work in a range of settings, including clinics and community-based services, providing tailored support to clients from the Central Coast to Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services to clients of all ages and abilities, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

Our caseloads encompass early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents, adults, dysphagia, communication difficulties, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). You will have opportunities to gain experience across all clinical areas, fostering your expertise and professional growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and delivering high-quality therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Providing early years interventions (0-5) – Clinic/Home-based early intervention and parent coaching
  • School-aged children (5-18) – Literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and AAC assessment and implementation
  • Adults – Functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia, mealtime management, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation
  • Neuro-affirming supports to our large neurodivergent population of all age groups
