Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide vital supports to individuals with NDIS needs in the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland, and surrounding areas.

The role involves delivering timely therapeutic services, managing an allocated caseload, and collaborating with participants' key stakeholders. We value neuro-affirming practices and strive to make a difference in the community.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services
  • Early Years caseload (0-5): Clinic/Home-based early intervention and parent coaching (including speech sounds, early language, feeding, school-readiness)
  • School-aged children (5-18): Literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and AAC assessment and implementation
  • Adults: Functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia, and mealtime management, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation
Requirements
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
  • Experience leading and supporting others
  • Passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team
  • A desire to make a real difference within the community
