- Serve as the primary communication link between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Spearhead the planning of product release schedules and set clear expectations for the delivery of new features.
- Supervise the development phases, ensuring the final product aligns with established requirements.
- Create and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
- Establish and uphold an expected outcome framework for features, fostering a culture of scientific rigor by validating hypotheses across key features and game systems, driving qualitative input strategies, and conducting regular check-ins with the game team to guide feature design and product strategy.
- Perform post-release evaluations, sharing insights with teams and executives, and working with junior team members to document and disseminate learnings.
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies within the gaming industry.
- Coordinate with marketing, creative, and franchise teams to promote titles both in-game and externally, optimizing response and return on investment.
- Collaborate with the Director of Product on business planning and key performance indicator (KPI) setting for the team.
Required Qualifications
- Over 8 years of experience in product management within the gaming sector, with a focus on mobile.
- Proficient in Excel (capable of complex functions) or BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) for dashboard creation and insights generation.
- Experience in a business-to-consumer (B2C) product management environment where consumer focus is paramount.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles, along with experience using product management tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Proven ability to communicate product updates, milestones, and progress to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong grasp of the gaming industry and its market dynamics.
