Key Responsibilities
  • Sector Engagement:
    • Develop and deliver tailored education and training sessions for various sectors.
    • Facilitate discussions and workshops to enhance collaboration in palliative care.
    • Establish and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Design and implement strategies to engage community groups in palliative care topics.
    • Conduct outreach to increase awareness of palliative care services.
    • Represent our organization at events, acting as a liaison between the community and our organization.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders in the North and North West of Tasmania.
    • Ensure clear communication and updates on organizational activities to all stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Coordinate cross-functional projects with external partners, ensuring successful outcomes.
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of engagement strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience in palliative care or education, with an understanding of the Tasmanian healthcare landscape.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects with initiative.
  • Strong communication skills to build partnerships and deliver education both online and in-person.
  • A willingness to travel across Tasmania, with a focus on community and sector engagement.
