Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Groundwater Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in geology, earth science, geochemistry or hydrology, and/or an engineering discipline. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute fieldwork programs including drilling supervision, geotechnical logging, soil testing and sampling, groundwater monitoring and sampling.
  • Analyse and assess groundwater and geological data using various tools and software.
  • Prepare informative maps, tables and figures, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams and clients to deliver best-value solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in geology/earth science/geochemistry/hydrology or engineering or related field of study.
  • Post graduate MSc or similar in hydrogeology preferred.
  • At least 2 years of direct consulting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment.
