The Role:

As our Electrical Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring our assets are in top condition and always fully illuminated. This involves undertaking electrical audits and maintenance of ad boxes, courtesy lighting, trip switches, totem poles, solar shelter panels, batteries, and more.

This role offers variety and flexibility, with a clear view of your upcoming schedule and autonomy to plan your day. You will work Monday to Friday, 7 am – 4 pm, plus on-call 4 pm-8 pm and weekends on a rotational roster (+1 RDO/month). Your key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting electrical safety inspections and reporting via mobile app.
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical faults on all assets.
  • Participating in new and existing building activities and contributing to project delivery.
  • Securing sites affected by road traffic incidents and ensuring public safety until repairs can be made.
  • Adhering to and promoting Work Health Safety (WHS) policies and practices.

Our team provides company vehicles, uniforms, and equipment, and we expect you to possess a current A Class Electrical License meeting Government regulations and be available for occasional on-call and after-hours work. A full, valid Australian Drivers Licence is also required.

To thrive in this role, you should be able to work effectively in a team environment, use your initiative while working with minimal supervision, demonstrate good communication skills, and comply with WHS policies. Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including a drug & alcohol test, license check, and reference checks.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is around $80,000 - $100,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
