Early Childhood Education and Care Service Coordinator Job Description

The City of Yarra is seeking a highly experienced Early Childhood Education and Care Service Coordinator to join their Children's services team. This role will involve coordinating the operations of early childhood education and care services, including leading a team of educators and supporting the development of children and families.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate professional to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families in the North Carlton Area.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in managing education and care services, with a strong understanding of the needs of children and families.
  • Excellent financial and business skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adjust communication style to suit the needs of different audiences.
  • Qualifications and experience required include a tertiary qualification in early childhood (minimum diploma level), substantial experience (5-10 years) in managing education and care services, current first aid certification, and a driver's license.
