Advanced Shutdown Operations Professional | FIFO

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the shutdown management standard. As a key member of the shutdown coordination team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating shutdowns to ensure efficient execution.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver shutdown schedule and manage yearly budgeted hours for shutdown lines of responsibility;
- Budget compliance for shutdown outage duration and cost, escalating potential deviations;
- Analysis of work management performance against KPIs to identify and deliver improvement initiatives;
- Management of schedule based on pre-determined priorities, current progress, and impacts of emerging work required;
- Liaison with operations and maintenance teams to validate and challenge scope;
- Gathering feedback and information from site and operations to be collated for post-outage review;
- Organisation and facilitation of post-outage review meetings;
- Liaison with contractors for activities such as mobilisation, task execution, close-out, and demobilisation;
- Liaison with planners and supervisors to improve shutdown plans;
- Liaison with shutdown scheduler to ensure schedule is updated during execution to reflect performance against plan;
- Analysis and confirmation of S26 job/area owners' time confirmations, escalating gaps to shutdown superintendent;
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, field experience, and be process-driven. They must be able to work autonomously, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and make decisions in consultation with other stakeholders.
