About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our team at Westpac Group. As a Senior Financial Crime Analyst, you will play a critical role in detecting, deterring, and fighting financial crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced financial crime analysis to uncover and address suspicious activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior analysts, ensuring the quality and accuracy of investigative work.
  • Act as a key delegate in the absence of managers, ensuring operations continue smoothly and efficiently.
  • Support the preparation and management of reporting requests to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Need
  • At least 3 years' experience in financial crime, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough and systematic investigations into financial crime.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information and make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
