We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at our Tullamarine or Campbellfield sites. In this role, you'll oversee and coordinate maintenance operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. You'll provide guidance, training, and support to a team of maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production output
  • Supervise and train maintenance technicians to achieve optimal performance
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventive maintenance strategies
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess machinery and equipment condition, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks based on operational needs
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and timely procurement
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

About You:

To succeed in this role, you'll require a strong background in maintenance or trades, combined with proven leadership skills and experience in supervising a team. This position is ideal for a seasoned tradesperson or maintenance professional looking to transition away from shift work and hands-on tasks.

You should demonstrate:

  • A trade qualification in a relevant field or engineering background
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and equipment reliability
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with CMMS or similar maintenance management software
