Industry Leader Required to Drive Logistics Operations

A prominent wine and spirits distributor is seeking an experienced logistics professional to oversee warehouse operations in Melbourne. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring the efficient movement of products.

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, your primary duties will include:

  • Inventory Management: Overseeing stock levels, managing inventory, and maintaining optimal storage conditions.
  • Staff Supervision: Leading and guiding a team of 3-4 staff members, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Deliveries: Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of products to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics within a warehouse environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
