Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the company's success by managing its portfolio of mining tenements. This involves ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and business strategy, as well as leading a team to protect the company's assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the company's portfolio of mining tenements in accordance with legislative requirements and business strategy.
  • Leading the Tenements team to protect the company's assets, including managing expenditure, monitoring and reporting, and lodging statutory documentation.
  • Managing an accurate and comprehensive tenement database, and associated tenement management and reporting systems.
  • Supporting the wider Land Access team in the management of Wardens Court proceedings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Geology, Planning or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in managing tenements pursuant to WA Mining Act legislation.
  • Prior experience with tenement management and compliance systems.
  • Project management skills and an aptitude for managing competing priorities.
  • An outcomes-orientated problem solver, with proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
