As a Government Relations Advisor, you will be working together with us to create thriving environments, communities, and economies. We are looking for experienced professionals who can analyze, research, and respond to complex and sensitive briefings in a high-profile government environment.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to shape our work that supports the Department's divisions.
  • Write high-quality correspondence to a diverse range of audiences, adhering to our values and the Minister's style.
  • Contribute to a team which provides expert advice and recommendations directly to the Minister's Office and Departmental executive.
  • Operate within a high-pressure and highly confidential environment with tight deadlines, where tact and diplomacy are paramount.
Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional integrity and alignment with our values of kindness, collaboration, and fairness.
  • Experience building effective working relationships with senior executives and Ministers' offices.
  • A track record for delivering high-quality work on time.
Benefits:

  • Starting salary from $99,431 per annum plus super and annual leave loading.
