Heavy Vehicle Body Repairer Job Description

The Heavy Vehicle Body Repairer role is a key position in the industry, responsible for ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition.

This involves carrying out inspections on vehicle bodywork and frames to assess damage, providing maintenance and repairs to all vehicle components, panels, and door systems.

Key skills required for this role include possession of a relevant Trade Certificate, self-motivation, and the ability to operate a range of equipment and tools.

A current MR Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out regular inspections on vehicle bodywork and frames to identify any damage or defects.
  2. Provide maintenance and repairs to all vehicle components, including panels and door systems.
  3. Repair scratches, dents, and other damage to vehicle bodywork.
  4. Replace parts where necessary and reassemble vehicle body parts and accessories.
  5. Manufacture, service, and fit vehicle components constructed from various materials.
