We are seeking a skilled vehicle repair professional to join our dynamic team at a leading smash repair facility in Sydney. The successful candidate will have trade qualifications and be able to assess vehicle damage, fabricate and repair bodies, and weld repaired vehicles to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess vehicle damage and determine the best course of action for repair
  • Repair and replace damaged body parts on trailers, trucks and fridges to our quality standards
  • Weld repaired vehicles to a high standard
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow is appropriately placed
  • Notify of any product shortages which would restrict production
  • Check schedule daily to ensure time-frames are met

Requirements:

  • Bus body repair experience (essential)
  • Trade qualified (essential)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Mechanical knowledge to assist with tool usage and maintenance
